Welcome to heartofthecelebration.com. This site and its intention is to provide relief for family, friends and caretakers when planning for a loved one's "funeral" and honoring and celebrating them in the most important time of their lives. We put "funeral" in quotes because we are trying to veer from the stigma a "funeral" holds...immediate action, unforseeable tasks, unexpected disputes...all while grieving and facing unknown requests that your loved one would have appreciated. At HOTC, we want to create beautiful and thoughtful stationery for CELEBRATIONS OF LIFE and help in any way we can to relieve people from the pressures of planning a service. The best way to honor a loved one who has passed is to celebrate their lives to the fullest, so let's take take the time to curate them stationery that they would've have LOVED.
About Lynn
Lynn has always had a passion for hospitality and events. After graduating from Boston University with a degree in Communications/Advertising, she worked at various ad agencies and print publications before opening her own custom wedding stationery studio in Boston for over 10+ years. After more than a decade in weddings and experiencing the grieving of her own father's death, she now understands the importance of celebrating a loved one's life, in the best way possible...so she started Heart of the Celebration.
"I want to create stationery that actually honors and reflects the person you are celebrating. The stationery should represent that person's wonderful life and shouldn't be an after thought that was thrown together, " says Lynn.
She is an active member of NACE Boston and a past president of the Boston Chapter. She lives in Quincy, Massachusetts with her husband and several stuffies.
